Refrigerators & Freezers
Q) Why isn't my fridge cooling?
Check and clean the condenser coils (usually at the back or bottom), verify your temperature settings, and ensure the doors are sealing completely.
Q) Why is my ice maker slow or not making ice?
Ice production depends on the temperature of your incoming water and the freezer. Warm incoming water drastically slows down ice production.
Q) How long do they last?
10 to 15 years, on average.
Washers & Dryers
Q) Why is my washer leaking?
Usually caused by worn hoses, improper leveling of the machine, or consistently overloading the drum.
Q) Why are my clothes taking so long to dry?
A large load should only take about 45 minutes. If it takes over an hour, you likely have a blocked dryer vent or the exhaust duct is clogged with lint.
Q) Are dryer sheets bad for my machine?
They won't cause permanent damage, but they leave a residue that can clog your lint filter and coat your moisture sensors, tricking the dryer into thinking clothes are dry too soon.
Q) How long do they last?
10 to 13 years.
Dishwashers
Q) Why are my dishes still dirty?
Hard water is the #1 culprit for poor washing performance. Consider using a water softener or cleaning products like Lemi Shine, and clean out the filter and sump area.
Q) Why won't my dishwasher drain?
Check the drain hose for kinks or blockages. If it's humming but not draining, you may have a faulty drain pump.
Q) How long do they last?
8 to 12 years.
